Gallery Walk

Today in class we had a gallery walk. We were walking around in class and look at what AoW’s our classmates had done. I learned about a ninth planet in our solar system, how bugs live in our houses, and how Donald Trump is affecting our education system. I also learned about endangered bats in Florida and a marine reserve near Antarctica. Let’s take a look and see how this affects my life.
      A ninth planet in our solar system. Scientists say that there might be a ninth planet in our solar system and it is affecting the solar system right now. It is tilting the solar system. Moving it around by inches and the scientists are noticing. It affects my life because they might find it and that would be cool. There would be three things that I never thought would happened in lifetime but did. A major war, the Cubs winning the world series, and a new planet in a our solar system. I also learned that Donald Trump as president would affect our education system. Trump said that he would give a 20 million dollar grant to private schools. Meaning that tax dollars would be given to private schools instead of public schools. Making public school not able to make any money and force them to close down. I also learned about how there will be a Marine Reserve close by Antarctica. Meaning there could be a chance that we find new species of fish or other animals. I also learned about how taxing meat and dairy products helps fight global warming. If we tax meat and dairy products it will help lower a billion tons of gas. Helping with global emissions.

Gratitude Blog

On Thursday is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is all about eating and being lazy. It is also about showing gratitude for your family and things you have in your life. It isn’t just a holiday that you get a day off for at school. It is about giving and hanging out with your family.
     I am thankful for my family. I’m thankful for having a functional family. I love my family. My grandma is funny and gives me life lessons that I will remember for the rest of my life. My uncle is one of my best friends. He likes the same things I do and is very funny. I love my mom and dad with all of my heart. My cousins are funny and good people to hang out with. My sister is my favorite person. She is funny and my little sister. I will be her big brother forever. I will protect her and make her have the best life ever. I honestly don’t know what my life would be without my sister.
     I’m also thankful for the things I have. I’m thankful for being in school and getting a education. I’m thankful for having a house to live in and a bed to sleep in a night. I’m thankful for having car to be driven to places. I’m thankful for yes having a phone, tv, and video game console to occupy myself with all the rest of the time I have after school.
     Thanksgiving is has more to it than eating. It is about family, gratitude, and being thankful for family, possessions, and your life. I hope that if you are reading this that you find that out. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and god bless.

Why did Hillary Clinton think the the FBI caused her lose?

     The article “Hillary Clinton Blames F.B.I Director for Election Loss” by Amy Chozick of the New York Times explains how Hillary Clinton blamed the FBI and it's director James Comey for her loss in the election. Hillary Clinton blamed the FBI and its director of the loss on Tuesday. She said that days before the election the FBI started its investigation into Hillary Clinton and her private email server again. He launched the investigation 11 days before the election. Springing her back into controversy and she wasn't able to end her campaign on a good note. She also said that the letter James Comey sent clearing her name was the most damaging due to the letter being released two days before Election Day. She said that due to the letter she lost most of the battleground states making so Trump won. This isn't time some blamed their loss on outside interference. Mitt Romney said he lost due to President Obama vowing to give gifts to African-Americans, Hispanics, and young people. John Kerry said that he lost after a videotape of Osama Bin Laden appeared, making people fear about terrorism. Mr. Comey’s letter to Congress went against the FBI tradition of avoiding decisions that affect the outcomes of election. She has been silent since her concession speech. She is probably thinking about how she could win the election.
     “Mrs. Clinton campaign was so confident in her victory that her aides popped open Champagne on the campaign plane early Tuesday.” What do you think this is? A very happy person that is about to become the President of the United States? Or a very braggy woman who caused herself to lose the election. 2 was correct. You see from the start Hillary thought she could win. Everyone thought Hillary would have won. But no she lost fair and square to Donald Trump. Why? Not because of the FBI but because of Hillary Clinton. All her scandals and things she has done have affected the outcome of the election. Her private email server, her wanting to have a no-fly zone over Syria, and her countless lies. This shows that you should never boast. Hillary though she had won the election due to Trump actions but in reality she was boasting for Trump’s victory.
     The author, Amy Chozick’s purpose for making the article as to inform us. She wanted to inform us about Hillary Clinton and she thought about her election loss against Donald Trump. She want us to know that Hillary blames her loss in the election on the FBI director James Comey and why she does.

Election Day: Reflection

     Last night was Election Day in America. Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton. On one side was a billionaire with no political experience prior and a huge ego. The other side a lying criminal would had a famous president for a husband. To be completely honest. Neither should have made it past the primaries. Hillary shouldn’t because she should be in jail and plus rigging the Democratic primaries. Trump shouldn’t have made it due to his lack in political experience. But they both past primaries and made it to Election Day. It doesn’t matter who you supported but we can all agree that this was a recipe for disaster. Both have major flaws, and shouldn’t be running for president. 

     Hillary Clinton shouldn't have been able to even touch the primaries let alone the White House. First she is a liar, a criminal, a greedy woman. Also she want to start WW3 and plausibly end the world. First since we mentioned it let’s talk about how she could have kill us all. One was Hillary’s “great” plans were to have a no-fly zone in Syria. As you know Syria is in a civil war and Hillary want to try to stop it. But if she won the presidency and made the no-fly zone happen we would be a big trouble. First she would have broken one of her many “promises” in her campaign. One of those “promises” was to not put a single dollar in the national debt. We will need that for later. Know back to the no-fly zone. If Hillary put the no-fly zone in place she would have started a war with Syria… and Russia. I don’t know if Hillary knows this but Russia wouldn’t hesitate to nuke us in the slightest. Also to have the no-fly zone would cause a war. Putting money in the national debt. Which she said she wouldn't do.

     But Donald Trump isn't good either. Although in my opinion Hillary is worse. Donald Trump is known for many things. One, for being a billionaire. Two, having a massive ego. Trump is also a moron. Bad mouthing pretty much everybody imaginable. He has badmouthed Latinos, Muslims, Women, and much more. He also made a lot of people hate him and think bad of him. Making it so people don't want to vote for him. Also due to him not releasing his tax return makes him a shady person. If Donald doesn't want to release his tax returns then what is he hiding. Making more people not vote for him.

     In conclusion, both Trump and Hillary are bad candidates. But Trump won and if you love him or hate him America is in for a rough four years.

Some people don't care
But some do
Soldiers went out on the front lines
For our freedom
For our peace
And for America
So use this day to honor those who severed
And show them respect
Because they fought for the flag
